    激素类肽包括生长激素释放肽（Growth hormone-releasing peptides，GHRPs）、催产素（oxytocin）等，是通过自身作为激素或调节激素反应而产生多种生理作用。GHRPs是新一类新合成的生物活性肽，在动物体中具有释放生长激素（GH）的生物活性。目前已合成的GHRPs有四种形式：GHRP-6、GHRP-2、GHRP-1和海沙瑞林（hexarelin），它们均具有Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH2的氨基酸序列。
