    Pirh2通过负反馈调控p53的转录激活和细胞生长抑制功能；

    Pirh2蛋白是一个新发现的泛素蛋白连接酶，受到p53的诱导调控表达，可促进p53蛋白的泛素化降解。目前多用于肺癌的研究。

    PirH2 has ubiquitin-protein ligase activity. It binds to p53 and promotes the ubiquitin-mediated proteosomal degradation of p53. This gene is oncogenic because loss of p53 function contributes directly to malignant tumor development.
