    P2Y1 receptor 为离子通道蛋白，一种受体配体开启的离子通道，介导细胞外核苷酸细胞间信号传导。
    P2Y1 belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors, and functions as a receptor for extracellular ATP and ADP. In platelets, binding to ADP leads to mobilization of intracellular calcium ions via activation of phospholipase C, a change in platelet shape, and probably to platelet aggregation. P2Y1 has been reported to be expressed in tissues throughout the body, particularly brain. [SUBCELLULAR LOCATION] Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. [TISSUE SPECIFICITY] Expressed in muscle, heart, liver, kidney, lung, brain, spleen, but not in testis. [SIMILARITY] Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.
